Honeywell Research Chemicals Freight & Inflation Policies

Honeywell Research Chemicals is updating its freight policy in line with the changing market conditions and movement of dangerous goods which require special handling.

Updates to Freight Policy

This policy does not affect individual contractual agreements already in place with Honeywell. The negotiated Incoterms will drive the application of freight costs. Freight charges for FCA Incoterms are paid by the customer (e.g. FCA seller’s dock), and therefore are exempt. There are no other exceptions to this policy.

Orders placed to Honeywell Research Chemicals

Honeywell Research Chemicals will update its freight policy with an effective date starting from August 1st, 2021. Orders placed with Honeywell on or after this date will be charged freight according to the total weight of your order and the shipping conditions (shipping point and Incoterms) to transport the products to your order destination. This will be a fully inclusive cost, including fuel and any associated dangerous goods surcharges that may apply.

Updates to Inflation Policy

For months now, natural gas prices have increased dramatically. This surge is also affecting electricity prices. As a result of the speed and magnitude with which energy costs have increased, effective immediately or as contracts allow, we will apply an ‘Inflation Surcharge’ to all orders shipped from Honeywell Research Chemicals.
